Bicycling has become one of the most popular leisure activities nowadays. Besides maintaining physical health, cyclists can also enjoy the scenery. Tong-Fon Bikeway Green Corridor is rebuilt from an abandoned railway, and apart from its leisure and recreation value, a non-use value for residents nearby also exist, which is that their future generations may also enjoy the bikeway. Generally, the total economic value is divided into use value and non-use value. Non-use value cannot be assessed with market goods, but by calculating it after monetization. This study divides non-use value into three parts: the existence value of the bikeway itself, the bequest value for nearby residents, and the option value for future use. Contingent Valuation Method, double-bounded dichotomous model, and survival curve analysis is used to estimate the non-use value of Tong-Fon Bikeway Green Corridor. Results pointed out that the amount residents nearby are willing to pay were 159.11 NT dollars for existence value, 311.92 NT dollars for bequest value, and 164.92 NT dollars for option value.
