  本研究主要目的在探討針刺「足三里」穴對最大運動負荷下的最大攝氧能力與運動後血液乳酸清除的反應差異情形。
  本研究以10位自願參加的大學體育系男生為研究對象,平均年齡19.7歲,身高176.2公分,體重68.8公斤。所有受試者以平衡次序分別接受針刺「足三里」穴與無刺激等二次最大運動負荷的實驗處理。所得的資料經單因子重複量數分析處理,其顯著水準設定為α=.05。
本研究結果經分析與討論後獲得以下結論:
一、對「足三里」穴施以針刺,在施以高強度的最大攝氧量運動後,其最大攝氧能力之提昇達顯著差異。
二、針刺「足三里」穴確有促進運動後乳酸排除之效果。
本研究結果顯示針刺「足三里」穴有利於提高運動能力表現,對運動生理學領域以及運動訓練來說有其正面效益,而對運動員而言,則可以協助他們承受較大負荷的運動,進而提昇運動競技水準。
Abstract
  The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of acupuncture on exercise induced physiological responses. Subjects were ten university males with average, height and weight of 19.7 yrs, 176.2 cm and 68.8 kg respectively. Each subject performed two separate maximal treadmill runnings with treatments of (1) acupuncture on Zusanli locus, (2) no stimulation respectively. Acupuncture stimulate was induced by a doctor who has a license during 20th-30th minutes before exercise. Physiological variables including the maximal oxygen consumption and blood lactate were collected and analyzed with one-way repeated ANOVA. The results obtained from this study were as follows: (1) Acupuncture stimulate significantly change the maximal oxygen consumption during exercise. (2) Acupuncture stimulate significantly lowered blood lactate during exercise. The results indicated that Acupuncture of Zusanli is more beneficial to recovery from fatigue following severe exercise and might enhance exercise performance.
