休閒運動學系2018-04-112025-07-282018-04-112018-04-11https://ir.ntus.edu.tw/handle/987654321/65415計畫系統編號:PF8803-0067 研究期間:1998/08/01~2000/07/31衛生署85年的資料顯示,我國已有超過246萬名更年期婦女。在本世紀末,臺灣將有1/5的婦女進入停經期。因此,停經後婦女的保健醫療即愈形重要。由於女性荷爾蒙缺乏,導致骨質流失,而形成骨質疏鬆,使骨折機率大幅上升,據衛生署統計,台灣每年有3萬人股骨部位骨折,花費近40億。這些症狀雖然可由長期女性荷爾蒙補充治療而獲得改善,但是也由於此治療方式可能帶來後遺症如子宮癌、乳癌等癌症產生,致使仍有許多人不敢也不願嚐試荷爾蒙補充治療(Hormones Replacement Therapy ; HRT)。倘若我們能研發一種運動方式,該運動非但能降低骨質因雌性荷爾蒙流失所造成的骨質疏鬆症,又可以達到健身的效果,那麼對於更年期的婦女而言將是一大福音。依研究得知(趙叔蘋 1997)切除卵巢之停經婦女,藉由一年半以上從事外丹功運動後,在大腿骨頸部之骨密度量,呈現顯著之差異(P<0.01)。為瞭解目前停經後婦女所從事之各種運動項目,是否也如外丹功般的具有顯著性的影響效果,繼而可藉由本研究之探討,提供停經婦女,面對骨質流失之威脅,能給予適切之運動處方,以提升生活品質進而減少不必要之醫療負擔。 A survey conducted by Health Bureau in 1996, showed that the number of post-menopausal women was over 2.46 million. At the end of this century a fifth of women in Taiwan will be faced with menopause. Therefore, health treatment and management have become an increasing important issue for post- menopausal women. The lack of estrogen in postmenopausal women leads to the loss of bone mineral and osteoporosis. The chance of fractures is thus on a drastically rise. According to the statistics of Health Bureau, thirty thousand people in Taiwan suffer fracture in femoral necks, which has cost four billion NT$ in this country. The above-mentioned sickness can be improved through a long-term therapy of taking estrogen & progesterone.(Hormones Replacement Therapy)However, these might cause cancers like uterine cancer, breast cancer et al. Therefore, most women turn away this therapy. Therefore, if we could research and develop an exercise that could both bring down the chance of osteoporosis and do body good, then this will magnificently benefit to post-menopausal women.According to a study done by Jaw Shwu Pyn (1997) by doing Waidankung at least one and half years. Post-menopausal women whose ovaries are removed have significant bone density mass in femoral neck. The main purpose of this study is to know what’s different with variety exercises bring to the effect on the muscle strength and bone mineral density (BMD) of femoral neck for postmenopausal women.
