A single-pore knee arthroscopy system for injured athletes

The minimally invasive single-pore knee arthroscopy system includes two components: a single-port cannula and multiangle flexible arthroscope. The system allows surgery through a single port into the articular cavity, resulting in less damage to the surrounding tissue and allowing multiangle images and illumination of the instruments as they enter the joint cavity and during surgery. The system is beneficial for athletes who experience high-torsion, high-impact knee problems and who require rapid recovery.
