周休二日的實施以及女性意識的抬頭，越來越多的家庭婦女或是職業婦女們從事休閒運動。本文以探討員林地區休閒運動資源，瞭解員林婦女對休閒活動的參與情況。經由作者觀察發現員林地區婦女休閒運動主要集中於慢跑、登山健行及騎腳踏車。休閒運動場域則以員林鎮外環大道為主，因良好的人行道設計加上易達性高，提升了鎮民對休閒活動的參與度，故晨間或夜間健走及慢跑的民眾越來越多，也隨處可見婦女健走、慢跑的身影。建議員林鎮針對休閒運動資源規劃一系列活動，藉此提升員林運動人口並增進鎮民對於員林的認識，也可提升鎮民對於休閒運動的參與度，建立正確的休閒運動習慣。

The implementation of the two-day weekend and the rise of female consciousness, more and more housewives or career women who engage in recreational sports. This paper is aimed at looking into the women's participation in leisure activities in Yuanlin. Author observed that Yuanlin's women are primarily recreational sports as jogging, hiking and biking mountaineering. Sports areas are mainly in Yuanlin's bypass road. Townspeople leisure activity participation increased due to good sidewalk design with high accessibility. More and more people walking and jogging in the morning or at night. Also saw women carrying out their activities. Recommend Yuanlin unit planning a series of activities for recreational resources. In order to enhance the movement of the population and improve the townspeople awareness for Yuanlin. Improve the townspeople for participation in recreational sports, to establish the correct recreational habits.
