本研究旨在探討臺中市國中教師的休閒運動與參與及阻礙因素與壓力之情形，期望藉由本研究提供學校教師後續研究及做為行政單位將來為教師安排休閒運動課程之參考，以達增進學校教師休閒之參與，減少休閒阻礙及工作壓力的具體效益。本研究以自製的「國中教師的休閒運動與參與及阻礙及工作壓力調查問卷」為研究工具，進行問卷調查。以臺中市之國中教師參與本研究，資料處理以SPSS 12.0套裝軟體進行描述性統計、t 檢定、單因子變異數分析、Scheffé事後比較檢定等統計方法進行處理。經統計解果發現如下：
1.教師休閒參與以構面來看「家庭型活動」參與最高；其次為「藝文型活動」；第三為「遊憩型活動」；第四為「嗜好型活動」；第五為「運動型活動」；最後為「社交型活動」。
2.教師休閒阻礙因素以構面來看「人際關係的阻礙因素」為主因；其次為「環境結構的阻礙因素」；最後為「個人內在阻礙因素」。
3.教師工作壓力因素以構面來看「學生行為」為壓力來源之首；其次為「工作量」；第三為「時間」；第四為「行政支持」；最後為「專業性」。

　　The main purpose of this study is to investigate circumstances of Tungshih district junior high school teachers’ leisure sports participation and obstruction factors. Using "the Junior High School Teachers’ Leisure Sports Participation and Obstruction Factors Questionnaire " as the research tool, the content includes three parts, personal information, recreational sports participation, and Recreational sports participation in order to compare Tungshih district teachers’ population different variables (including age, gender, years of service, jobs, services, and income, etc.), and discuss if there is significant difference between teachers’ leisure sports participation and obstruction factors as a reference to administrative units arranging recreational sports programs for teachers in the future.
