本研究旨在探討我國籃球教練之領導行為,並瞭解不同背景變項的籃球選手,對教練領導行為之知覺和偏好程度之差異;及分析籃球選手的背景變項對於知覺和偏好的教練領導行為之六個向度及整體領導行為。以我國各級學校673名籃球選手為研究對象,採自編之「運動教練領導行為量表」為研究工具進行調查。所獲得之資料,經單因子多變項變異數分析(one-way MANOVA)、單因子變異數分析(one-way ANOVA)、薛費氏檢定法(Scheffe’s method)等統計方法處理,結果發現:

  1. 我國籃球選手知覺和偏好的教練領導行為,「訓練與指導行為」、「民主行為」、「關懷行為」、「獎勵行為」、「團隊行為」和整體「領導行為」有顯著差異,均為偏好的顯著高於知覺的教練領導行為。

  2. 不同背景變項(性別、年齡、組別、訓練年數、練習天數、最高成就)的選手,對教練領導行為的知覺程度,有顯著差異存在。

  3. 不同背景變項(性別、年齡、組別、訓練年數、練習天數、最高成就)的選手,對教練領導行為的偏好程度,有顯著差異存在。


ABSTRACT

This research investigated the leading behavior of basketball coaches in Taiwan. The purpose is to understand effects of athletes’ backgrounds on their respective perception and preference toward their coaches. Special attention was paid to the six dimensions, as well as integrity, of the leading behavior. Survey samples include 673 basketball players came from schools of all level. “Scale for the leading behavior of sports coaches” were used in this investigation. Data obtained were analyzed with one-way MANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’s method. The following results were obtained:

1.preferences are significantly higher than the perceptions in all of the following dimensions: training and instruction, democratic behavior, social support, positive feedback, and team behavior. Preferences toward the integral leading behavior of the coaches are also significantly higher.

2.Differences on the perceptibility of athletes with different backgrounds (gender, age, group, training years, practice frequency, and best achievement) are significantly.

3.Differences on the preferences of athletes with different backgrounds are also significant.
