Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of sports training on sensory-neuron-muscular ability of children. Sixty voluntary subjects were selected and involved measures such as hand-eye coordination, ability in discriminating between color and form, and discriminative ability by different sensory modality. The results of this study indicated that: Hand-eye coordination was influence by sports training (p<.05). The gender difference was significantly found in color information discrimination (p<.05), but the form information discrimination was significant effected by sports training (p<.05). Ability in discriminated color information was superior to discriminated

form information (p<.05). Ability in discriminating by vision-tactual was the best among by vision and tactual (p<.05). Therefore, the findings suggested that provided some test apparatus and assess methods for research in area of sports talent exploration. Coaches and teachers of physical education could understand how sensory-neuron-muscular ability change by sports training, and it could be a good information for training program, teaching program, and instructing skills.
