現代人的視界中，藝術不再只是單純的專業，在休閒兼具學習功能的理念下，參與藝術活動已成為現代人主要的休閒之一。有鑑於此，本論文試圖藉由研究瞭解傳統藝術在教育、傳承與休閒功能方面對現代生活所產生的影響，同時在協助傳統藝術推動上所扮演的角色。本研究採用深度訪談法，以國立傳統藝術中心遊客及中心行政人員為受談對象，共訪談遊客18名與行政人員3名，以「遊客選擇國立傳統藝術中心為休閒取向的動機｣、「國立傳統藝術中心對遊客在傳統藝術知識建構的影響呈現」、「以遊客的觀點探討傳統藝術中心透過動、靜態展演兼顧休閒與延續專業傳統藝術雙向效益」、「傳統藝術中心結合休閒取向下的具體做法」等問題為切入點探討。
研究結果呈現受訪者為休閒取向的動機上，認為國立傳統藝術中心的確扮演了傳統文化創意發展的的角色，且因為結合宜蘭文化觀光產業，使其成為宜蘭主要的旅遊景點。就傳統藝術知識建構的影響而言，受訪者認為藉由互動課程的講解實作，無論從精神上或物質上都得到對傳統民俗、工藝、表演等的知識性認知，透過實作成品將創意作品攜回，並可以經驗者角色向朋友推薦介紹，進而藉此管道建構傳統藝術知識。在兼顧休閒與延續專業傳統藝術雙向效益上，認為可以透過欣賞所舉辦的傳統藝術表演節目，如傳統戲曲、音樂、舞蹈、工藝等表演活動及特殊建築藝術的導覽活動，達到兼顧休閒與延續專業傳統藝術雙向效益。在結合休閒取向的具體做法上，主要是藉文化觀光推廣傳統藝術，藉由傳習計畫與研習營保存傳統文化，利用與傳統藝術系所相關的大學與研究所合作，統整資源，達到教育紮根的目的。依據受訪者針對中心改善內容之期望，本研究提出以下三點建議以提供國立傳統藝術中心參考，一、園區促進參訪舒適度設備的改善，二、餐飲設備改進，三、研習推廣與圖書之普及化。

　　In the eyes of modern people, art is no longer a merely specialized field. Participating art activities becomes one of the leisure time activities under the concept of combining leisure with learning. This study aims to understand the impact of traditional Arts on education, cultural inheritance and leisure function in our daily lives as well as help to promote the roles of traditional arts. For this study, in-depth interviews were conducted as the method to collect the data. Three executive staff in the National Center of Traditional Arts (the NCTA) and eighteen visitors werechosen as the subjects. The interview questions were proposed and explored such as tourists’ motivation to visit the Center, effects of traditional arts knowledge acquirement on visitors,advantage discussions from the viewpoint of visitors for both sides through dynamic and static performances which took leisure and the continuation of traditional arts into consideration and practical methods that linked up the NCTA with the leisure orientation as well, etc.
The investigation results showed that subjects with leisure motivation to visit the Center responded that the NCTA indeed played a role of developing traditional culture and creation. Together with Yilan cultural tourism industry, the Center has become one of the most popular tourist spots. As far as the impact of traditional art knowledge acquirement was concerned, subjectsbelieved that they gained knowledge about traditional folk, craft and performing arts in both spiritual and material demands by taking interactive courses. Bringing back the DIY works and experience, they could convey traditional arts knowledge to their friends. As for the effectiveness brought, respondents thought that they got advantages of both leisure and traditional arts when they appreciated the performances such as traditional operas, music, dance, handicrafts and the tour service for special architecture. With regard to the practical methods that combined the Center with the leisure orientation, they agreed that cultural tourism could promote traditional arts and traditional culture was preserved through teaching and learning plans and study camps. Besides, resource integration and education purpose were achieved in cooperation with the universities and research institutes that provided related traditional arts courses. According to respondents’ opinions and expectations, the study proposes three suggestions for the NCTA for reference. The first suggestion is that the Center needs to advance comfort and convenience facilities. Second, the catering equipment at the park should be improved. The third one is that the extension studies and library books at the Center should be popularized.
