Abstract

With the development of volleyball, the changes of rules has been profound affect the scoring techniques. In the rally point system, the powerful serve is the mainstream. Thus, the attack following with reception is one of the most important scoring skills in the game. The qualities of the reception also lead the score performance in offense. There are various factors which influence the receiving in volleyball games including, dynamic vision, visual concentration, visual response time, eye-hand and eye-foot coordination and total reaction time ... etc. This article attempts to explore the relevant factors with reception in volleyball and provide some training modes which are based on pervious sports and sports vision theory studies. And hope that the concepts of this paper could provide as a consultation for the coaches and players on training.
