中華成棒隊打擊能力之研究–以2006年第十六屆洲際盃棒球錦標賽為例

本研究旨在探討中華成棒代表隊在第十六屆洲際盃棒球賽直球、變化球打擊率及選球能力與打擊率之關係，其研究結果期能為中華成棒隊打擊能力做基礎研究，本研究以現場記錄法完整記錄選手打擊情形，並透過轉播單位提供影帶，再由三位從事棒球運動球齡及訓練二十年以上之觀察者，進行影片資料的記錄與核對，研究對象為2006年第十六屆洲際盃棒球錦標賽之中華成棒隊之12位擊球員，將收集之相關資料，以SPSS 統計套裝軟體進行描述性統計、Paired.T 考驗以及皮爾森積差相關（Person correlation）比較直球與變化球打擊率及選球能力與打擊率之相關性。結果發現：

1.直球及變化球打擊率之間無顯著差異（p=.12），直球打擊率與總打擊率具有高度正相關（r = .838, p<.05）。

2.『壞球揮擊』與『差的選球能力』與打擊率具有中度負相關，表示『壞球揮擊』與『差的選球能力』比率愈低，打擊率越高。

3.好球揮擊、壞球不揮、好球未揮及『好的選球能力』與打擊率無相關性。

4.『打擊率』（Y）與『壞球揮擊』（X）之迴歸方程式為Y= （.0.023） X+0.543，『打擊率』（Y）與『差的選球能力』（X）之迴歸方程式為Y=（.0.008） X+0.482，由此兩公式可預測擊球員打擊率的高低。

The purposes of this study were to examine the batting average amongs fastball , breaking ball and the relationship of plate discipline. We hope that the study can be beneficial to Chinese Taipei baseball team. The ability of plate discipline and hitting were recorded in baseball stadium and checked by 3 senior observers who have experienced baseball over 20 years. After processing the data with descriptive statistics, paired.T test, Persons’ correlation coefficient and simple linear regression and got the following generalization:

1.There were no significant difference at batting average between hitting fastball and breaking ball at that time of batters played （P=.12）. There had highly positive correlation between batting average of hitting fastball and total batting average （r = .838, p<.05）.

2.There was negative correlation between swam to ball and poor ability of plate discipline for Batters of Chinese Taipei baseball Team.

3.There was moderately negative relationship between “Swing.ball” and batting average. The same results were found between “Poor ability of plate discipline” and batting average. Lower ratio of “Swing.ball” and “Poor ability of plate discipline”, higher batting average.

4. The regression equation from batting average（Y） and swing.ball（X） was Y= （.0.023） X+0.543. The regression equation from batting average（Y） and poor ability of plate discipline（X） was Y= （.0.008） X+0.482.
