台灣運動產業的概念與及其範疇，在早期的研究中缺乏一致性的定義。因此本研究的目的是以Delphi 法研究適用於台灣運動產業分類標準之架構，及透過專家意見來了解台灣運動產業發展之特性。研究結果發現，NAISC 分類標準適用於台灣運動產業分類。運動觀光及運動旅行活動及與運動相關聯之休閒產業，皆應列入為運動產業之範疇。對於運動產業專業人才的培養以及規劃就業輔導等，必須積極重視。
The concept of sport industry in Taiwan is still quite immature. Few researches have been conducted in this area. Most previous researches lack a consistent effort to define segmentation of the sport industry in Taiwan and its scope. Therefore, this study was multi-purpose. First, the classification of sport industry will be standardized through Delphi-method. Second, use expert opinions helps map the current status of sport industry. This study found that NAISC classification method could be adopted for the sport industry in Taiwan. The sport tourism, travel and recreational relative activities should be included in the sport industry. Also, must pay more attention to the education and training of sport industry's qualified personnel actively.
