[衝突的現場III] 休閒的正與負：時代變異與休閒參與之紫色效應

[背景]本研究希望自我定位在一個批判的社會學觀點，以闡述休閒邊緣性的理論作為架構研究的起點，並操作質性研究中深度詮釋與深度理解的優勢，以20位分屬Rojek定義中的兩種偏差歸類的極端休閒參與者所能提供的發聲與文本，探索在目前這變異的時代中身為偏差休閒的執行者對於偏差的意涵認知與主觀體驗。[目的]除此之外，本研究同時希望經由了解目前社會認知偏差與休閒的過程來探討主流與非主流模糊界限中的權力拉鋸與爭辯，以及休閒於此類偏差行為中的定位與角色扮演，進而釐清「偏差休閒」的真正意涵，揭露休閒基礎概念中持續被隱晦的邊緣性及其所可能引起之道德爭議，用以銜接休閒理論上對偏差休閒的論述與遺漏。[方法] 本研究之研究對象將根據Rojek(1999)於其有關偏差休閒理論中所歸類的類型為中之革命行動者(Revolutinaries) 與犯罪者(Criminals)為主要對象，採取的抽樣方法以目的性抽樣為主，以能夠提供最符合本研究研究目的與問題的對象為主要研究參與者。並以滾雪球方式 (snowball sampling) 進行樣本蒐集，進行深度訪談與原野觀察。[結論]根據資料分析的結果，本研究發現所謂『偏差休閒』的從事者本身認知且了解所從事的休閒類型與一般社會所論述之休閒活動有極大的差異，然此種認知與行為上的衝突與社會上傳頌的道德標準有極大的關係，但也間接呈現了休閒中抵制而後賦權的潛在意義。另外在從事活動的過程中，所得到的各式休閒益處與（benefits of leisure）與休閒所提供的功能皆與一般休閒參與者並無差異，但在生活脈絡中卻具現了『繼承』的特質，挑戰了休閒中有關自由選擇與自由意志的重大含意，並重新建構了「正常與偏差」常模與休閒汙名化概念之型構與歷程。

The major purpose of this research is to focus on the meaning and subject experience of deviant leisure participants through four social deviant types of leisure types categorized by Rojek, and further disclose the conflict between the idea of deviance and social norm from the public perception, as well as the disagreement of the blurring boundary between mainstream and non-mainstream culture. Method-wise, totally 40 interviewees from 4 different types of leisure deviance will be recruited for data collection purpose, plus the field observation of 2 specific deviant leisure groups. Through the use of this multi-method design, hopefully this study is able to reveal the continuous hidden marginality and its moral debate in the basic concept of leisure, and to connect the deficiency between the discourse of leisure theory and deviant behavior.
