99年全民運動會志工參與動機之研究

本研究主要目的在瞭解體育志工參與99年全民運動會的動機及志工行為意圖之影響因素，以實際參與99年全民運動會的體育志工為研究對象，包括接待志工、競賽服務志工、管制服務志工、交通服務志工、資訊服務志工、特殊活動志工、隨隊服務志工等，共計有效問卷248份。本研究將問卷所得到的資料，以 SPSS for Windows 12.0 統計套裝軟體，進行描述性統計及單因子變異數分析。本研究結果指出，受試者參與志工服務的動機因素最高的是「利己主義」，其次依序為「利他主義」、「社會互動」、「社會壓力」因素。不同性別志工在「利己主義」與「利他主義」二構面上，皆達顯著水準。男性在「利己主義」構面之得分顯著高於女性，而女性在「利他主義」構面之得分則顯著高於男性。在留任意願方面，受試者因為「利己主義」因素無法達成，而不願意留任的因素得分最高，其次為因「利他主義」因素達成而願意留任。不同性別志工在留任意願的差異情形，外在因素對男性志工影響最大，而利他主義因素對女性志工參與過程的影響力最強。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the demographics, motivation, and commitment of volunteers at a sport event. The study focused on volunteer motivation in sport events which attract a large number of short-term volunteers. Participants were the volunteers of the 2010 Taiwan Citizens Games. A total of 248 volunteers from the 2010 Taiwan Citizens Games completed the paper-based survey during the event. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA were used to answer this research questions. The results showed that all the participants were students of junior high school in Taichung City, and their age range is from 13 to 17. The most important motive to volunteer in the 2010 Taiwan Citizens Games was “Egoistic” followed by “Altruism,” “Social,” and “External Influence.” In the univariate testing, males were more involved with volunteer service due to “Egoistic,” and females volunteered more for “Altruism” reasons. The most important factor which prevents 2010 Taiwan Citizens Games volunteers involving in volunteering is “Egoistic” needs could not be satisfied. However, “Altruism” reasons are what keep them being a volunteer. In the univariate testing, males were more likely to terminate volunteer service due to “Egoistic,” and females continue involving with volunteer service more for “Altruism” reasons.
