電視運動播報對觀眾暴力與樂趣知覺的影響

電視運動轉播時，播報員的播報若傾向於強調暴力內容，可能影響閱聽眾對於比賽的暴力及樂趣知覺。而這樣的影響可能與閱聽眾本身的性別及經驗有關。本研究以慎思可能性模式為基礎，檢驗播報內容、運動經驗及性別對閱聽眾的暴力及樂趣知覺的影響。以120位大學生為參與者，不同性別和有、無籃球訓練經驗各半，分別觀看配上不同播報內容的籃球比賽，一為強調某隊球員的敵意和暴力的播報，另一則為平實地描述比賽過程的中性播報。結果顯示在暴力知覺方面有顯著的隊別與播報以及隊別與性別的交互作用。閱聽眾對於比賽的暴力知覺會受到播報內容所影響，但與經驗無關。在樂趣知覺方面則只有播報與經驗的交互作用。有經驗的閱聽眾較能在強調暴力的播報中獲得樂趣，而無經驗者則覺得中性的播報較有趣。

Abstract

The commentator’s commentary emphasizing high level of violence of the game in television sport may affect the audience’s perceived violence and enjoyment. This effect may be mediated by the audience’s gender and experience of sport participation. This study, based on the elaboration-likelihood model, examed the effects of commentary, sport experience, and gender on the audience’s perceived violence and enjoyment. Participants in this study were 120 college students watching a basketball game with commentary either emphasized the players’ hostility and violence or gived neutral comments. The results showed significant team – commentary and team - gender interactions in perceived violence. Audience’s perceived violence of the game was affected by the content of commentary, with no experience effects found. In terms of perceived enjoyment, only commentary - experience interaction was significant. Experienced audiences reported higher level of enjoyment with commentary emphasizing violence, while non-experienced audiences found neutral commentary more enjoyable.
